Walk, walking away, from a dream,
could this be, what I really see?
She's so forgiving, and so wise,
it's such a shame I've got clouds over my eyes.
All the reject, and all of the shame,
everything I shared, everything I had to blame,
all the aggression, the storm inside the man,
the waves shaking his uneducated plans.
Space and time, grew forever more,
the sailor went to explore,
underneath the empty sea,
swept in from the tide with an apology.
She got out of his way,
even when he asked her to stay,
she told him to forget about her anyway,
all went quiet, she went away.
She grabbed the knife, slashed her wrists,
fell to the floor her face had kissed.
her parents found her, her sister told the man,
"She could die, why was this planned?"
Day after day he, thought how she,
took his words harshly, he found himself guilty,
could barely get sleep, felt like a creep,
cried like a scared sheep, every day he'd weep,
"Why, why, why, why?
Her heart held a jar, with money inside,
to see him someday, even after he lied,
he cried out, "Why?"
he cried out, "Why?"
And she survived.
